A Background – If You Were…

The Tall Man, born the son of a Postal Worker and subservient housewife, excelled as bully in his formative years. Luckily he was able to outgrow those shortcomings and now excels as a screenwriter in his MFA program in the bayou of Louisiana. The Fat Man was not always fat. Weighing a paltry 130# at 6’0″ in high school, he was a mediocre soccer star, track and tennis flunky. It wasn’t until college that he gained the ‘Freshman 50’ and never looked back. These two, by chance and circumstance, met at an intensive film program where they both were eager to pursue their passion but only ended up being $10,000 friends. A friendship that lasts until this day. We both went our separate ways but our magnetic personalities  and bond have led us back to one another. He in New Orleans, LA and myself in Asheville, NC. On a whim, they both set off to undertake a social media adventure into the world of blogging. So here it goes. We both hope you enjoy and laugh a little. Thanks.

  5. Compton: A Soundtrack Review A.K. A 16 Years, 16 beers: Part One - I’ve loved Dre ever since N.W.A. and the Posse (look it up newby and young bucks) — the pure roots of N.W.A. before ‘Straight Outta Compton.” Ever since the West Coast gangster super-group eventually dissolved, Dr. Dre took his straight up banging flows and beats to ‘The Chronic. Not to be confused for an anthem … Continue reading Compton: A Soundtrack Review A.K. A 16 Years, 16 beers: Part One
  6. Wetlands: A bizarre yet hilarious coming of age tale of sexuality - Wetlands, a coming of age film about  the sexual tale about a German teenage girl’s (Helen) sexuality both comes of bizarre and quite hilariou circumstances (What a demented sense of humor I have). I know what you … Continue reading Wetlands: A bizarre yet hilarious coming of age tale of sexuality
